More Is More Sometimes
Another week another style post. This week
it’s about mixing print, I honestly didn’t expect the mix to come out this fabulous
but it did, I always mention how I never try clothes on prior to shoots or
outings, I pick either the top or bottom and randomly select what to mix with
it.
I bought this print Ankara dress during
‘Beth-O’ sales sometime early last year, I particularly like how they cut up
different patterns of fabric and put it together into a dress, I fell in love
at first sight and strangely it was my perfect fit, considering that most times
finding my perfect fit is always such a struggle.
The jacket which I also got made by mixing
two different colors but the same print together, normally I would wear this
over a plain color dress or denim and a top but decided to take a risk and mix
all patterns and prints together, to be honest I got inspiration from ‘Lisa
Folawiyo’, her mix and match game is too strong. Especially prints for her designs and they all always come
out looking perfect so I figured it shouldn’t be so bad and it beat my
expectations.
I love how the dress is easy breezy and can
be worn separately and still be a killer outfit but the jacket just gives it
the perfect chic look. Don’t you agree?
Brought out my silver mules to complete the look, also to tone down
cause the outfit already had so much going on, hair out of the way for a
perfect view of the look.
Love & Light. xx
