Fishtails X Bodysuits
Another week is upon us, I am forever wondering
how fast the days go by.
This
week I am going to be talking about a set from designer ‘Sally Bawa’, one of
the pieces from her first collection that I collaborated on with her, had such
an amazing time shooting and it was also the first time I had professional make
up done, loved it but don’t think the whole getting my face baked is for me.
Listening to ‘Magic by Coldplay’, I have
realized that music helps me put my words together.
Depending on my mood, my choice of music
varies, lately I have been happier than usual, I wonder why and to think I am
generally a happy person but lately…. Guess I am just thankful cause it could
be worse.
Back to my outfit, I guess we all know I
don’t wear tight clothes, it generally isn’t my style, I feel more comfortable
in loose fitting clothes but sometimes depending on fabric and style I can opt
for a tight outfit. It wasn’t a surprise when I was meant to shoot with this
outfit I was a bit skeptical even worse cause both top and skirt were tight,
but decided to just go with it, which was a smart choice, loved the look at the
end wheni saw the pictures, but I have never been able to wear the outfit cause
shooting and actually wearing them out are two different things. But I am
hopeful that one day I would get around to wearing them comfortably because
there is nothing as bad as wearing an outfit and not being comfortable to the
point you cant even be yourself.
The details of the skirt are amazing; it’s
like patterned mesh with like a fishtail detail mixed with faux fur (you get
what I mean). Love the texture of the skirt and how structured it is, the body
suit is Lycra I think sits well against my skin, not the perfect body suit tone
for me but it works, paired the look with my go to stilettos (nude) , hair
laid and the rest is history.
Have an amazing rest of the
week/weekend. Xx
